Jones For Lieutenant Governor of PA

My name is James Earl Jones, and I am running for Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania. Ballot #2 May 17, 2022.


I love my country and my state, and I believe that my military and business experience make me a very good fit for the people and the position. Apart from that, I am a pro-life Christian, a constitutionalist, a 1st, 2nd & 10th Amendment leader, a business strategist, and an HR professional based out of Hatboro, PA with a track record that speaks for itself.


Once elected, I will be responsible for:

  • Serving as President of the State Senate
  • Chairing the Board of Pardons and the Local Government Advisory Committee
  • Serving on the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Council and Military Base Community Enhancement Commission
  • Overseeing the Work of the Turnpike Commission, the State Fire Commissioner, and the State Police

James Earl Jones, a Frederick Douglass Republican Conservative, is an American businessman born in rural Luxora, Arkansas. He was raised as a sharecropper, who joined the US Navy, retired, and moved to Pennsylvania in 2000. Douglass demonstrated that it was cruel, unnatural, ungodly, immoral, and unjust to use slavery in America, and inspired President Lincoln to implement the Emancipation Proclamation - set people free!

Jones, the founder and principal at Silverback Commodities, has over 25 years of experience with global governments, energy, military, finance, project development, and engineering. With offices in the United States and Paris, France, Silverback Commodities has built and supported relationships in Africa, Latin America, Asia, and Eastern Europe. Prior to founding Silverback Commodities, Jones was President and Managing Director of QSI International Inc., a human resources and human capital consulting practice.

As a Public Servant

Committed to public service, Jones ran for US Congress 8th Congressional District (currently 1st Congressional) in 2008; and for US Congress 2nd Congressional District (currently 3rd Congressional) in 2016 on a platform of economic and job growth, restoring fiscal responsibility, and creating stronger,
safer communities.


Jones, a retired US Navy veteran, has adapted his military background, naval and business experiences to help deliver national energy solutions for the 21st century. Jones was responsible for the acquisition and budgeting of surface ships and aircraft material requirements and support personnel for combat readiness and operations, worldwide.


Jones, who very early in his naval career, understood that delivering energy and petroleum is one of the world’s greatest challenges for our allies and partners. His service includes patrol duties in Vietnam, various Western Pacific Cruises, the Gulf of Hormuz, and the First Gulf War.

As a Christian

A devout Christian, Jones attends church at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia in Northeast Philadelphia. Jones was appointed to manage the Faith-Based Initiatives in Bucks County under former President George W. Bush and the late Congressman Michael Fitzpatrick. He also served on the Bristol Township Weed and Seed Council, the Berean Institute Board of Directors, and the Philadelphia Prostate Council under Mr. Michael Milliken Jones' wife is deceased yet he is a father of 3, grandfather of 8, and great grandfather of 2.

As a Business Strategist

Jones's employment records are business strategic. As Chief HR Strategy Officer at S.A.I., Jones directed collaborative relationships to lead business capture efforts and identified and built new relationships with major customer leaders, stakeholders, and business leaders to openly address human resources management in the context of organization-wide business issues at the NIH.


Jones, while working for Kmart Corporation with over 275,000 employees, directed and managed efficient operational support programs through labor relations, corporate communications, integrity, change management, community relations, and planning. Jones performed as a General Manager of Human Resources at the Philadelphia Public Housing Authority in Philadelphia, PA where he participated in various programs including Moving to Work (formerly Moving from Welfare).


The MTW program filled a critical need in not only Pennsylvania but also in the United States for HUD policies that are centrist, activist, and forward-looking, defining what is at stake and offering policy recommendations that are timely, nonpartisan, and pragmatic.

As a Well-Trained Professional

Jones completed various Naval Engineering Studies, Nuclear Biological Chemical Training, and trained US Navy Seals in Unarmed Self-defense, US Navy, San Diego, CA as a Second-Degree Black Belt. Also, Jones has a BS in Education, Training and Development, SIU-C, Carbondale, IL an MBA in Business Administration, A.U., Boise, ID and attended Law School, John Marshall Law School, Atlanta, GA.
